Blue bird boxes.

Today I went out with a Meetup group erecting blue bird boxes in Myles Standish State Forest. It was a chilly morning that warmed up really quickly. By the time we had put up 16 bird boxes, some field swallows were swooping around ready to take occupancy. It was a lovely event and I look forward to hearing more about the bluebird populations reported by Melissa at Cornell Ornithology.
