My Mother's Day Flowers

This lovely bunch of flowers arrived yesterday - sent by my daughter Becky. They are a mixed bunch with roses, carnations, chrysanthemums and gerbera. Very colourful.

Spending a quiet Mother's day on my own.... well Cookie did pay a fleeting visit just to say Hello.

Neil phoned at 9.30am to say " Happy Mother's Day ". He was walking home from Albert Park, Melbourne having just watched the Formula One Grand Prix. Lucky lad to be in the city at the right time and to be able to see it live.

Am expecting a phone call from Becky later in the day.

Listening to the Newcastle match on the radio at the moment We are playing Norwich and at half time score is 1 - 0 to us. Hopefully 3 points are in the bag. But anything could happen.

A dull and cold day to start but the sun has finally appeared this afternoon.
