This abandoned teddy bear reminded me of the story by HC Andersen, about a Christmas tree.
How it was full of self esteem, when it was the centre of the family, covered with beautiful things and with presents stuffed under its branches, and how it was forgotten and cast aside, as soon as christmas was over..
