Mother's day walk

Having received some beautiful handmade cards from Ellie and Anna (and some toffee fudge - yum!), the whole family went for a long walk on Deuchny Hill - although there was still a chill in the air, with the sun shining and the blue skies, it was just glorious.

As I write this, David is preparing a roast dinner and - I believe, although it's meant to be a secret - bread and butter pudding. The house is filled with the combined aromas of pork crackling and vanilla!
