Flowering Cherry (I think)

Spring series has moved from the garden to the woods. Haven't been in the woods for a few months - autumn/winter storms brought a lot of trees down and there has also been harvesting/clearing operations. All of the paths were pretty messed up, rutted and muddy last time I was in. I thought that maybe it would have settled a wee bit - how wrong. Paths are almost unusable in a lot of places and while I know clearing is good for the woods some of it seems like pure vandalism. Lot's of trees I particularly liked now gone. Still a lottery grant means that pretty soon the woods will be in community ownership - things can only get better.
