All on its own ...

... Walking through the park on another glorious morning, I spotted this lone rhododendron, the only one in the entire park (which isn't short of shrubbery) in flower. Why's that, I wonder. I suppose one answer might be it's not a rhododendron, but it looks like one to me. Anyway, it's lovely, whatever it is.
