Royal museum

Quite a rushed and stressful day. RH returned from honeymoon to find she had an email asking her to start her new job a day earlier than agreed. Not so good when you have just returned from holiday, are incredibly jet-lagged and feeling under the weather.

LH had the day off, but came through to Edinburgh, spending the day wandering around the newly refurbished museum. Rather than make a bee-line for the ususal historical areas, most of the day was spent looking at the areas dedicated to nature and endangered and extinct species. All very interesting.

RH had an enjoyable first day under the circumstances and came home for an early night.
