Walk to the local

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day.......but by the time we went for a walk it all went a bit grey. The sea defence on Hayling appears to have taken a bit of a battering so a few of the beach huts are being moved back so our beach walk was a bit shorter than usual so we walked the other way a bit. My panoramic shot of the Isle of Wight didn't go according to plan - and ended up mostly beach and pub but it made the angle look quite arty so I chose it for my blip.

The birds were all out and about singing this morning....sadly not in front of my camera/tripod/remote shutter set up - no they were on the other feeder that is usually ignored!!! damn them!!! Did hear a lovely robin singing though and I could see his throat feathers all parting as he sang - sadly he was a bit high up for great quality - but for 36x digital zoom it wasn't a bad shot.
