Magical fairy garden.

After an early morning coffee on top of Mt Coot-tha we took a wonderful stroll through the botanical gardens. It truly is an incredible place. I have been through the botanical gardens in South Australia many times and used to enjoy it. However this is something else. The tropical environment makes for some spectacular flora and it just has you going "WOW" in every direction you look. It's hard to know what to look at next with the choice of a full-on tropical rainforest, enclosed dome with pond and lilies, fern garden, cactus garden, bonsai garden, wedding lawns, babbling brook and waterfalls. I will be a regular from now on as I can't imagine a better start to the day than a stroll through these gardens with a hot coffee in hand. Today it was very special to be in the rainforest area as it was very humid with surprise showers sweeping over the gardens. Couldn't get more authentic than that. There were some spectacular pictures but in the end I think the fairy ring of mushrooms on one of the lawns near a towering tree was too good to pass up.
