The Boys Are Back In Town

Well what a day it's been!

Mrs blip did extremely well in her debut at the local horticultural society spring show.

Two 1sts and three 2nds!

We're very proud of her!

I went karting with the Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway team (I won't be giving up the day/night job just yet!) but I was pleased that I managed some passing and that with some skilful manoeuvring, I managed to drive through the carnage at the hairpin, while many didn't!

I may not have made it onto the winners podium this time but watch out! I'll be back!

My Girl and her best friend and her Dad came to cheer me on, which was greatly appreciated!

After racing was done, I made haste (within the legal speed limit of course) and picked up Mrs blip, then we headed west, where we should've been the previous evening. (see yesterday's blip)

What we saw of the team, out racing on their new bikes, looked very promising!

From our newly appointed No1 down to our new signings at reserve berths 6 & 7, they all rode well.

2012 just might be the year we see the Monarchs reign supreme!
