Finale - Moscow Ballet

All tickets for the Moscow Ballet performing Swan Lake were sold out in Glasgow - thanks to publicity on a social networking site! -so we had to travel through to Dunfermline.
Fabulous performance.


Earlier, eating in a nearby Chinese restaurant, we were intrigued by the East Europeans who had descended on this quiet Scottish town for the evening.

One young couple were at least 6ft 6inches-closer to 7ft than 6ft.

The only country I have ever seen such tall people in were Estonia.


And the table next to us had four young Russians including a Putin-lookalike. They ordered one bottle of wine, no food, and consumed that in a couple of minutes.

Then they left in a hurry to go to the theatre even though it was half an hour before curtain up.

Clearly they had an appointment.
