a shelduck

Went to Blackness as the queue to get across the Forth Road Bridge was horrendous, but the wind there was very lazy - went through us not round us. Later I went for a totter to the marina, after the wind had dropped. Took a couple of curlew shots but they were quite far away, so chose this one. As you can see the tide was right out.
