Spa Blue

I was out walking with a friend in Amsterdam today, and decided to check out the new Conservatorium Hotel. I had been inside this beautiful old building when it was still an actual Conservatory of Music, and was curious to see what they'd done to turn it into a five-star hotel.

While most was a blend of historical architecture and modern design, the spa in the basement was all 2011.

The middle bit of this photo is somewhat Escheresque, don't you think?
