Sands of Time

What a gorgeous gorgeous day! I didn't see too much of it unfortunately. I didn't even have time for a run this morning which would have been glorious to head up to the reservoir. I spent the morning preparing lunch for my Mum and brothers as an early Mother's Day treat. We had our coffee out in the garden though. My boys were through in Edinburgh at friends for Super Saturday - another poor result.

I had half an hour between the family leaving and the boys returning so I headed out to Newlands cemetery again. I spotted this headstone which had a design a little like an egg timer, and I thought it was rather poignant to have an image of the sands of time on there.
