A lovely day
After an appointment in town I headed out to that foreign land known as the West End to go to the Botanical Gardens. There was even some blue sky overhead, and sun was making it through the clouds, which were fairly minimal most of the day. Bliss! It was certainly a popular spot for photographers, at some plants we were nearly forming queues! It was a hard blip decision day, which there haven't been that many of recently, so that was nice too. Some lovely shots to choose from, and play with a little.
My flatmate is in the process of moving out, so the flat is rather bare, with things in random places. I came back in this afternoon to find the ironing board in the kitchen, and I don't mean folded, I mean set up. My kitchen has basically the same amount of floor space as the ironing board, so I'm not sure what was going on! The last two times my flatmate moved out I had the place to myself for some time, this time there was someone already lined up to move in within a matter of a few days of Alex announcing that she was moving out. All very tidy, which was nice and very much less stressful than before.
Next weekend I'll be on Arran, which frankly right now can't come soon enough!
