Faces of Ireland

Well it's Ireland's National Day today, St.Patrick's Day. Not that it really has much to do with saints nowadays since not many of them are to be found in the bars and pubs where unfortunately too many Irish congregate to "Drown the Shamrock".
It is a great day for the youngsters though with parades in all the major towns. Even Arklow has its annual parade and I went there for a short while just to see what face I could find. The clown is a guy I know personally, the red headed one looks like he really doesn't want to have anything to do with it. He with the beard seems to be losing control of his facial hair while madam must be hiding two black eyes. A day of madness and mayhem throughout the land.
