the sage forest

with it's greyish foliage and hairy leaves, sage is one of the plants which enjoys drought conditions so perhaps that is why it is flourishing so early this year? I liked the effect of the raindrops caught in a moment of sunlight, but it's not entirely satisfactory, I'm afraid. Maybe sage is just too boring? I took some photos of lambs later in the day but let me tell you that they can out-diva the pigs as models! They wouldn't look in my direction nor would they frolick and gambol.
the day had other disappointments too including the car suspension going! A problem to be put off till Monday however.
