Sunday: Samobor

Temperatures shot up to 23 degrees today so we took a drive out to Samobor, about 20kms west of Zagreb.  

I will be honest with you - that wasn't our intended destination.  We had originally planned to go to Lake Jarun, but had neglected to find out anything about it, including an address, and soon realised, while driving past increasingly communist-looking tower blocks that we shouldn't have assumed that Lake Jarun had anything to do with Jarun Street (which is what we had programmed into our SatNav).

So, a hasty change of plans and off to Samobor, a beautiful and very small town.  Croatians love to sit out in the sun and watch the world go by.  And you never go anywhere without your sunglasses - even in winter.
