Dazzling
I think these wild plants are Euphorbia Helioscopia. Apparently they are called Mad Woman's Milk in the States - heaven knows why. I prefer the other common name - Sun Spurge. Alternatively they might be Euphorbia amygdaloides 'Purpurea' Purple Wood Spurge. There are so many euphorbias that it's very difficult to identify them with certainty.
They are unbelievably green and have taken up residence in the vineyard potager. Of course that means that they'll be dug up to make way for vegetables in the next short while. I'd rather like to transport them to our new, naked garden. Do you think they'd transplant successfully?
