Muscari sp.

Saturday's is usually visit to Mum day. Her front garden is very much a spring garden with tulips, daffodils, heather and these muscari plants brightening up the street scene. Flowers are always a couple of weeks earlier in coming into bloom than ln the clay soil in my garden, because the soil is light and sandy.

Sorry Mum, I know you had hoped I would post an image of the camelia in the back garden, but it is past its best. Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow.
