Sunshine on a rainy day

That is some crazy weather we've been having in Vancouver. I took this today as we were waiting for the skies to open with heavy rain. Huge clouds, warm sunshine, heavy rain, hail and eventually the sun came out again. Once again I'm conforming to that British stereotype.. You can take the girl out of Yorkshire but you can't take the Yorkshire out the girl.*

Today Andy got his cycling racing licence, we went to the Space Centre Planetarium, we saw a bald eagle on the roof, we got soaked and we ran for a lot of buses! Tonight a friend came round and we made pizza and watched a film.


*Further proven by nothing short of my sheer delight at finding Yorkshire Teaon sale in London Drugs (great name), and not only that, it was on offer! Woo hoo! A sure sign that everything is going to be alright. Plus we bought a packet of ginger nuts (biscuits, just thought I should clarify that). A great day indeed.
