Back Blip

Today we were bound for Port Alberni, BC. A small town in the Vancouver Island. It'll be my second time to go there so I was really excited.

So we met up at the office at noon and tried to meet the departure time at 3:00 pm. There was windstorm over the lower mainland that they had to stop all ferry trips after lunch. That would have meant a really bad delay for us. But the good thing was, we were able to reach the port in time and at 3pm, they decided all ferry trips were clear to go.

This shot was taken on the ferry. It was really a rough trip for us, the ferry was really tilting from side to side. On the deck, the wind was blowing really hard. It was cold but it also gave a refreshing feeling. After 2 hours of travel across the water, we arrived in Nanaimo, BC. After an hour more, we finally reached Port Alberni.
