King's Cross

On the way back tonight i had a quick look at the new extension to King's Cross station and it looked great. Although it doesn't open until Sunday you can see the main roof structure over the construction hoarding, and pretty impressive it looks as well. I spoke to a foreign construction worker who was manning the site entrance and he told me he was proud to work on the project. In his words he thought it "looked like at airport." It has a kind of grace that you rarely see in large transport projects these days a testament to a successful parnership between architecture and engineering.

I thinks its John McAslan and Arup Associates, but i'm not 100% sure.

Not many blips from me recently, i've working 11hr days and this will continue untill Easter!!! Seriously missing the bliporazzi.
