the "paan" vendor

there was this old lady selling Paan in the market. the smile of course comes free of cost. She seemed to be in no hurry to sell her stuff off and go back home. she just liked to sit there all day, watch people come and go by...and do that again and again and again, day after day, year after year.

went for a good lunch today. not to one of the fancy restaurants of the city but to a very old, cheap and glamourless restaurant. had chicken biryani and followed that with chicken curry and rumali roti (soft indian bread). That was one of the best chicken curries I had in months!
