Where The Wild Things Retire....

I didn't do too badly at golf today. Got a reasonable (for me) score of 109. My short game was terrible, but that's to be expected seeing as I haven't played for a year. Anyway, it was a perfect day for it and the geese didn't seem to mind us at all.

We had our friends from Bend visit tonight for dinner. They have two young boys. Unfortunately Holly already had a PJ birthday party to attend tonight so Emma was home alone with the boys (and us of course). Emma had been really upset about not going to the party and told us she didn't want to play with the boys. However, when they came to the house Emma did play with them the whole time and all we could hear was giggling and talking and running and jumping and.... so on. She had a blast. Go figure.

We had a great time with our friends too, and Kim cooked a great meal. We're off to watch "Long Way Down" now.
