The Friends Life Centre

Standard Life has a House and Friends Life has a Centre. Both of course are just buildings and Friends has the better one, albeit in not as good a location. Bristol is pretty nice though, and Bath, which is a half-hour train journey from Friends, is absolutely beautiful.

I checked out of apartment 9 this morning and thankfully I won't be back there next week. I've kept a suitcase behind reception over the weekend which means I can just take hand luggage on the plane whilst still having my saxophone to play during the week.

I realised today that the work I'm doing at Friends is probably going to require designing and building a whole new set of Realistic Balance Sheet (RBS) reporting spreadsheets fr scratch. A really juicy bit of work that would look great on my CV. I'm certainly going to enjoy the work if I'm correct.
