Terrace Restaurant

Second College shot in a row. This is the College's Terrace Restaurant, a work-based environment for our hospitality students to hone their culinary skills to provide an on-site eaterie for hungry staff, learners and the public. We were hosting a group of French exchange students and their lecturers through Bathgate twinning with Cran Gevrier which is in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Some of our learners went to Groisy Catering College at the end of last year and this was the return trip for the French students.

The evening meal was prepared and served by our hosts, the menu kept secret until the actual night, and we were treated to a traditional French five course dinner of the highest order. A really lovely night - the students all did themselves proud.
