there is a wonderful frenchman who comes over from Roscoff twice a year and brings onions, shallots and garlic to sell to local businesses and shops - he has a thick ,lovely accent but I always imagine him leaving the shop and slipping into a more local tongue !No matter, I am convinced that the onions taste better because of him...
