Yay, finally managed to get a decent capture of a heron doing something other than just standing there.

Was in Nelson for a short course today and on the way home we took a drive down to the Waimea Estuary to see what was happening. Just as well this heron was because there was not really anything else moving other than the tide.

Definitely best viewed large.
