Nowadays Lego comes in ready to build popular TV or movie craft. Where's the inspiration in that?

Lego have totally misjudged kids. Their product appeal comes from the utilitarian nature of the individual pieces. Once added to the scrapyard they become the building blocks of a kids imagination: the products of which are far more creative than what is pictured on the front of the box.
