Sunny afternoon.

Within 5 minutes of blipping last night, the vet rang! I spent pretty much the rest of the evening googling symptons again and didn't get back here to comment much, sorry.

We have been back this morning first thing for yet more of Stella's blood to be taken :( This time they are also doing something called a blood smear to look at whether she's actually making new blood cells. These samples are being sent away to a bigger, better lab with more sensitive equipment to try and determine what's up.

She mentioned encephalitis (this would explain her confused episodes and low white cell count) and said Stella must look so well as her body is fighting whatever's wrong. In the meantime the doggy dementia medicine is helping as we've only had one "barmy" time this week.

So, another wait & see.

We were obviously late for work but managed to sneak a few minutes on granny's lawn soaking up the sun once the thick fog had lifted :)
