All At Sea

This week I've resumed my reading of Patrick O'Brian's excellent Aubrey-Maturin books, a series I've worked my way through, bit by bit, over the last ten years or so. That it's taken me so long to peruse them is not a slight on their readability; however, I find that I have to be in just the right mood to voyage back into O'Brian's meticulously-crafted world, and that mood is not always ever-present.

It's always welcome when it does roll around, mind.
