I went to see Kings Cross Station because they had the grand opening yesterday but I didn't see much as it was closed and surrounded by workmen!! The tube entrance was open. It is very easy to transfer over from St Pancras Station across this concourse!! They have changed the platform numbers inside the station so I will have to go back and check it out before I travel to Sunderland!! The whole area is being redeveloped and I wandered about having a good look. It has come on a long way but will not be finished until 2013. It will be magnificent - if we really need billions worth of pounds spent on it for us????
