There and back again

Foggintor School

Now known as Four Winds car park, this remote spot was from 1913 to 1936 the site of a school for the children of quarry workers from the surrounding area.
One of the enclosures at the rear of the car park was the garden of the school masters house and it has growing in it, a large fur tree that was planted by the school master for Christmas one year.
