Taking a Break

Horribly busy at work again and I spent the morning sneezing for some reason. I wonder if a) I'm coming down with a cold or b) it's somehow connected to the lawn being mown outside my office...could I have developed hay fever in my 40s? Anyway, I took a walk into town at lunchtime via the shortcut pictured, bought some sandwiches and Millionaire's shortbread from Costa, and headed off to Swan Barn Farm for a bit of peace and tranquility. So much for that, though, as there was a Belted Galloway cow getting very excited about something over the other side of the valley - he didn't stop mooing the whole time I was there. Better than the sound of phones ringing though...

Now it's off to Parents' Evening for me and Sons 1 and 2.
