Daisies

These daisies sit in a vase on a window sill in our bathroom. The vase belonged to my grandmother on my Dad's side of the family. She was born in 1900 so the vase is very, very old.

I was planning to blip it in color, but after a proper exposure, it still seemed washed out against the window. I adjusted the highlights, dodged, burned, and saturated all to no avail. Then my wife suggested black & white and the rest, they say, is history.
