Purple Sprouting

My heart did a little leap when I saw this in my veg box yesterday - and I gave a little woop. That's a bit sad isn't it? It's only broccoli after all.
But, it's lovely fresh stuff, not bendy and horrid like the stuff from the supermarkets and it means I can make Joanna's Purple Sprouting from my Leon book.
Broken up, crispy sausagemeat, chilli, fennel seeds and broccoli all pan fried. YUUUUUUUUM.
Better when you're not on a diet and can put more oil into it and mop it up with crusty bread but hey, you can't win them all...
