Redwing blackbird

If I am wrong, please correct me, but I think this is a female redwing blackbird. When we hear their call, usually in the marshy areas of the park, we know that spring has arrived. Today we were pretty certain that spring had arrived. The sun shone all day and the temperature was warm enough that I had to take off my jacket and tie it around my waist. This is very unusual for March here on the south shore of Lake Erie. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop (and the snow to start falling), but the prediction for the next week is mostly warm and sunny weather. Truly weird!
