"Top manta"

Top manta is the name used in Barcelona to call peddlers .
They sell everything: fake glasses, fake handbags, scarves, videos.....and every kind of fake items to tourist who pass by. When the police come, vendors pick up their things in their blankets and run to the nearest subway station. When the police leave, they return to streets and continue their sales.

Do you have this in your town there in Finland, New Zeland and even in USA?
In Venezuela we have, but neither the police use to chase them, nor they pick up their items when there are policemen around.
