Dusk

Dusk is one of my favourite times of the day. I was walking home from Pilates tonight and this picture seemed to capture the mood in just the right way.

I love going for a walk in the time between sunset and night-time. It's funny for me as I actually can't stand that inbetween light indoors and have to get it over with by turning on a light. Outdoors though, Everything seems so tranquil and magical. It's a nice relaxing time.

I meandered my way home, taking my time to enjoy the dusk. Sometimes it's nice not to be in a rush or have nowhere in particular to be. After a particularly harrowing day at work, this was a nice relaxing journey home (ok perhaps the Pilates already had me in a chilled out frame of mind too).
