Unknown shrub

No opportunity today for anything but a garden blip.

This compact dome shaped shrub has been in my garden for years. In early summer it has smallish, rather insignificant spears of white flowers. I must admit I've never noticed, until this afternoon, how pretty it is at this time of year.
