Touchdown!!!
Game two in the Lucas Oil Stadium of the Indianapolis Colts. True to form, the Colts were well beaten, they have the worst pre-season record in the NFL and the best when it counts. The Bengals got their touchdowns through driving the ball, the Colts through an 80 yard run from a kick off interception, quite something.
By the end of the evening I had grilled Scott (my guide) throughly about the rules, the difference between offensive and defensive play (all the players change), the number of downs and time outs etc! The verdict, it's a bit like rugby, but they only play 60 seconds at a time!! A good night out none the less.
The verdict on the stadium,...wow. London 2012 take a look. Retractable roof, patio doors that open to view down town Indy. 60,000 people and no queues for a beer, toilet, food or entry! At a touch over $700 Million it's probably going to be too expensive for us!
