Memories of a home on a busy street

I was waiting for a bus and spotted the side of a home newly demolished, You can see remnants of wall paper, fireplaces and the chimney stacks. These houses have stood for about 150 years. I thought about all the people who would have lived in that house, been kept warm from the fires, memories soaked into the wallpaper and brick. In the meanwhile the world rushes by with everyone going about their own business.
