Rodeo Girl

Ella is 5 and has been to the rodeo 5 times, every year since she was born. She has worn a pink cowgirl hat and pink cowgirl boots every year. How long can we make this last. Her being the baby of family, makes us want to see it go on for a long time still....we'll see....

All good things must come to an end.

There is an event at the rodeo for kids Ella's age called Mutton Busting. Kids ride on the back of a sheep as the sheep runs across the arena. They try to stay on the sheep and not fall off. They receive a score based on how long they can stay on. Ella did very well! She received a score in the 90s for the second year in a row. She came in third last year, second this year, and next year is the last year she can participate , so we have our fingers crossed for a first.
