Land Down Under
An orchestra consisting of 5, yes five multi-talented, multi-instrumentalists from Australia, who perform incredibly accurate film scores by the great Ennio Morricone
Just shut your eyes, listen and you're suddenly transported to the wild west!
Although you really should keep your eyes open because this performance is a visual treat too.
The 5 are dressed just as if from a scene from one of the movie classics and with pale white faces, they take to the stage (no, not the Wells Fargo) and open with Man with the harmonica, from the brilliant Once Upon A Time In The West
Audience participation is a requirement, however we don't need much persuading to join in.
The auditorium is split into 3, we, on the right (looking from the stage) are the Good, the left, the Bad and a guy in the 6th row in the stalls the Ugly!
All 3 of us were well enough (thankfully) to attend.
Though on exiting the theatre, the coughs returned.
So Mrs blip goes for some fresh air, while My Girl and I, buy the official S.W.O. cd, get it signed and have photos taken with 3 of the orchestra.
A great evenings entertainment, we'd love to see them again tomorrow if we could but sadly they're not staying for a 2nd night, no they they're heading to Aberdeen.
If you are going to see them you'll have a bloody good time!
