Blood

After a totally shit day workwise, I left early and traipsed across Bristol too give blood. Took me over 40 minutes too get there! They made me wait over an hour! I missed the start of the footy.
The pluses, I saw a very good friend I've not seen for a few weeks. He brought a team mate I've not seen for years. We had a great time chatting about footy.
The reason I give blood is, my mum was the beneficiary of a kidney transplant many years ago. My mum, unfortunately, isn't with us any more. Someone, somewhere, took the time too give blood, selflessly gave their time and effort for free. I hope you never need it, if you do? It's there. Oh, and I got a silver award for 25 donations.
