Don't Say You Haven't Been Warned

Interesting time at the minute. A few opportunities opening up on a few fronts. My nature is to be positive and push on through the doors as they open. My attitude is nothing ventured, nothing gained. However, this sign just caught the corner of my eye as I pushed through a big extra wide double swinging door. Seen the hot water one a few times and managed to survive pretty well. This seems to be a whole level higher. Might proceed with a little more caution than normal. But I am still going through the doors.

Had parents night for the Lad tonight after work. Pretty much the same report as always "very capable, could work a bit harder and push himself and chat a little less in class". In all of the top groups, just needs to work harder to fulfil his potential. So hopefully he will knuckle down for his last 4 years.

Mega's turn on Thursday. Not expecting much other than the norm. She has always done very well at school, but does seem to have taken her foot of the gas a little. Can't really get on at her given where she is at. Again just want her to fulfil her potential.

Not easy this parenting or being a grown up. If only I was back at school without a care in the World. Would just have to go through it all again. Many as well soldier on.
