Retro Lego

Father-in-Law of Mine has been clearing out his loft and found this Legoland set from the 1970s. Nostalgia reigned as Husband of Mine rebuilt the models, mostly from memory - the instructions were with it; they're just not as comprehensive as those in the sets today.

Note the working crane, complete with length of red cotton, probably replenished from his mum's sewing basket when the supplied black cotton broke.

So I now have retro Lego all over the floor as well as Star Wars Lego on the table...
