St Ambrose's Church, Leyland, Lancashire.
My daughter told me about this beautiful neo gothic C of E church. I do so like the way that the C of E echo the RC style. I suppose that they would say it was the other way around, but as in Gulliver's Travels, minor things have been known to start wars. Kathryn noticed that although this church steeple is square, it only has three corners. Perhaps this photograph will explain why, and as they say, whoever they are, a picture is worth a thousand words. I think this church would have great potential as a scary movie scene, if we ever manage to see the moon behind it.
Adios.
