I Heart Crumpets

Until Mrs42 bought me this lovely book about British baking (the photography is good enough to eat) I didn't even know there was such a thing as 'crumpet rings'.

But there are!

Of course, I was already well acquainted with crumpets and now I'll be churning them out myself at the weekends :-)
